=O I'm remembered. Incidentally I finished my classes and my computer went kaboom. So... computer and internet access is limited. :p

I've also been super distracted because I decided to attempt to rearrange everything (literally) in my entire house in 2 days... so far not succeeding, although I've made a really big mess. Very Happy

I just bought some new furniture and I have to say it looks great but I hate paying so much ($2400) for so little. Makes me sick really. But yeah, I'll be moving my stuff around too but it will involve a new (bigger) apartment.

What the heck did you get for only $2400 Smitty? Last time I remember us getting new furniture it was two sofas, one that seated 3 and the other was a love seat, and both only cost $2800. But furniture in general is always expensive.

I want to get a nice dinning room set for my mother but will have to wait for my car get be paid off first. Was going to get her something real nice to put into our formal dinning room that has been sitting empty from the day we moved in. Not that we will use it much ourselfs most the time, it will just be when we have everyone over for the holidays that will will have the use for it for then we will have to big dinning tables for everyone to use rather then just one dinning table and 3 folding tables. Want to get a desert bar/china cabinet too.

I think it is sick that a couch/love seat costs more than a used car in good condition.
You know it is not really worth the price it is sold for.

You should just get a futon if you want someplace to sit for cheap. And you can also fold it out and use if for a bed if you have anyone over visiting you. I love my futon but can be a pain to fold up and down all the time so for long periods at a time it is either up, or down. But never folding it back between the two all the time. My brother had a metal futon with springs to make it easier but it was so poorly made it just feel apart after about a year or so. Stick with a well built wood futon that sits in the center when down in the bed positon. Anything that has a support on one side for support because it isn't centered will just break off after awhile. I've had mine for 5 years now and besides needing to be refinished it is still holding strong even under my great weight. lol

But even if furniture is expensive, you can't beat good qulity furniture. Take this desk that I am using, it's must be going 18 years now and still looks great and holding strong. They really don't make furniture this good anymore and will most likely keep to desk long enough to pass it on to my kids, if I ever have any.

I just got a bunk bed set for my two older boys for $500 +$45 for 2 sheets of plywood so we could use their old mattresses. :p I also saw a couch/love seat set that would have cost about $900 that I really wanted cause it would look awesome in my living room cause it would match my LotR map poster.

We just finished completely overturning our house. The baby moved in with the two older boys who are now in bunk beds with exercise mat flooring in that room; we completely repainted that room. The baby's old room is now a school room/mini-play room. The living room got completely emptied and turned into an actual living room (prior to this it was the room where we stuck everything that wouldn't fit in the other rooms....soooo that got pretty creative XD), and I emptied anything that didn't have to do with cosplay or art specifically out of my workroom. We did all of this in less than 48 hours...

And my computer is working again... it had been overheating because one of our cats that likes to sleep on my tower had been smuggling fur and a little dust into the machine, so when we opened it up we found enough fur and dust to create another cat. So it is clean and so far working. =D

I will be catching up on other posts shortly. Must go harass husband and play Ragnarok Online (which I haven't played in over a month and am suffering withdrawal from in a bad kind of way).

*Watches as the tumbleweeds return and blow across the forums again.*

Every time you think the tumbleweeds are gone, they always return. Where has ever gone too. I'm so alone...... I need a hug. Sad

I've been tired and without a bunch of personal time (work and college eat a lot of that away), save for the evenings, and I tend to lurk on most boards anyway. I am still alive and watching, though.

I was thinking of trying out that Ragnarok Online but found that you have to pay for it. Neutral So I guess I'll just have to stick with Rappelz.

ya... RO is pay-to-play. Sadly that hasn't hindered my addiction to it in the least.

That was why I had to stop playing EverQuest, I just couldn't afford paying for it after it got up too $12 a month. And I hear it's up to around $20 a month now and there would never be anyway I would pay for a game then pay that much a month just to play it. Yes I did have fun and loved to play EQ but when you are spending all your time playing a game and have 2 accounts then it's time to wake up and just walk away.

I'm glad that I never started playing those pay to play games. Travian has been the closest I've gotten to that kind of thing.

RO is, at least, a free download. I don't have to pay for any of the new updates or patches either. I actually don't get to play all that much any more--at least during school months--so I only pay hourly, which is $8 for 30 hours, which during busy times will last me 2 months.
